The association was founded in 2011 by a group of individuals and companies with extensive experience, professional knowledge, and a true passion for promoting Spanish trade, business, communication, and culture in Australia.
The Chamber aims to be the leading reference point for Spanish companies interested in investing in Australia, as well as for Australian companies looking to develop and expand their business in Spain.
From the outset, these initial members had the support and guidance of the Spanish Trade Commission, as the association’s goal was to become the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Australia.
After just one year, the Chamber became a reality. The Official Spanish-Australian Chamber of Commerce is an association incorporated and governed by the Associations Incorporation Act of 2009 (“the Act”) in the State of New South Wales and operates at a national level. Currently, over 70 companies are formal members, including individuals, small and medium-sized organizations, and large corporate members.

• Advertising Platforms: We use our social media, website, and events as platforms to promote the activities and achievements of our partners in both markets.
Training and Development
• Training Activities: We offer specialized training activities tailored to the needs of our member companies, including seminars, workshops, and specialized courses.
• Webinars and Language Sessions: We organize webinars in collaboration with our members, and language sessions in Spanish and English to improve the linguistic and business skills of our partners.
Exclusive Member Resources
• Access to Directories and Resources: We provide privileged access to our Member Directory and other exclusive resources, including information on events and strategic business opportunities.
