The Regional Minister for Economic Development of Lombardy<\/strong>, Guido Guidesi<\/strong>, and the President of the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Italy<\/strong>, Luigi Pat\u00ecmo<\/strong>, have signed at Palazzo Lombardia<\/strong> a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)<\/strong> aimed at promoting economic and commercial cooperation between companies from both territories<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the agreement is to create a framework for collaboration that fosters investment, knowledge exchange, and stronger relations between the Lombard and Spanish production systems<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The signing ceremony was also attended by the President of the Lombardy Region, Attilio Fontana<\/strong>, and the Ambassador of Spain to Italy, Miguel \u00c1ngel Fern\u00e1ndez-Palacios<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cThis Memorandum of Understanding,\u201d stated President Fontana and Minister Guidesi, \u201cis part of the path that the Lombardy Region is pursuing to strengthen international economic relations and create new growth opportunities for our business system<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Among the main objectives of the protocol are the creation of strategic partnerships between Lombard and Spanish companies<\/strong> and the promotion of new bilateral investment opportunities<\/strong>.
The Lombardy Region<\/strong> and the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Italy<\/strong> also commit to promoting, within their respective territories, tools that support businesses<\/strong>, with the aim of providing concrete assistance to Spanish companies seeking to strengthen their presence in the Italian market<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The agreement further provides for joint initiatives in innovation, research, and competitiveness<\/strong>, encouraging dialogue between entrepreneurs, institutions, and economic stakeholders<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe agreement with the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Italy,\u201d underlined Guidesi, \u201cgoes beyond simply encouraging trade exchanges \u2014 it aims to build strategic partnerships between the two territories<\/strong>, creating links between production chains, developing research and innovation projects, and facilitating access to regional tools already available to support internationalisation.
As a Region, we want to provide Lombard companies with a practical tool to seize the opportunities offered by Spain, both in terms of investment and industrial or technological cooperation.

Expressing his support for the agreement, Ambassador Fern\u00e1ndez-Palacios stated that \u201cthe Embassy of Spain in Italy<\/strong>, through its Economic and Commercial Offices in Milan and Rome<\/strong>, is fully committed to the growth and improvement of economic and commercial relations between the two countries<\/strong>.
In this endeavour, the Chambers of Commerce<\/strong>, as cooperation bodies of the Spanish administration, provide crucial support<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
